Robert E. “Bob” Jelonek, 76 of Huntley, Sun City died peacefully, Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock.
A memorial service will be 4:00pm, Sunday, November 20, 2011 at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.? In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Bob was born December 17, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Edward and Elizabeth Jelonek. ??He served in the United States Army.? On October 6, 1962 he married Rose Marie Scaletta.?
He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Jelonek of Huntley,IL, one sister, Rosemary (Steve) Zook and? also by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill.
