Barbara A. Lodewyck, 64 of Huntley died peacefully February 7, 2014.
A visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Rd, Huntley. A service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven.
Barbara was born November 6, 1949 in Chicago the daughter of Jack and Lucille Ryan. She married Robert George Lodewyck on December 1, 1968. She enjoyed her family and loved entertaining and gathering friends together.
She is survived by her husband, Bob, her children John (Dawn) Lodewyck, Colleen (Mike) Becker, Bryan (Karen) Lodewyck and by her three grandchildren, Tyler, Ava and Jack

We are so sad to hear of the passing of our old neighbor and friend. I am sad that we haven't kept in touch , but I have many memories of her smiling face and funny stories. She will be greatly missed.
