Timothy McNamara, age 63, of Huntley, passed away on September 24, 2026 at his home. He was born July 13, 1963, the son of Robert and Mary Ellen (Mahoney) McNamara in Chicago.
Tim grew up in Chicago and was a graduate of Taft High School. He later earned certificates in various computer systems. He was a long time member of McHenry and Kane County Search and Rescue Team. Tim was an avid nature and wildlife photographer.
Tim is survived by his siblings, Joanne McNamara, Kathleen McNamara, Susan (John) Brosnan, and Robert McNamara; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Melissa, John, Michael, James, and Kevin; and seven great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday October 10 from 1pm-4pm with a service at 3:30pm at DeFiore Funeral Home located at 10763 Dundee-Huntley Road, Huntley, IL 60142.
