Pedro J. Alegre 84, a cherished husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully after a long battle of declining health, surrounded by his family.
Pedro's legacy of love, wisdom, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered for the impact he made on the lives of those he touched.
In honor of Pedro's life and in lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Journeycare (https://journeycare.org/donate/), Pepper family Hospice care center an Organization that provided care and comfort in his final days.
A memorial visitation will occur on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 8 am until 11am, with a service starting at 11am at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Rd., Huntley. Burial will be private.
