John J. Wesolowski, 67 of Algonquin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 10, 2014 following a sudden illness.
He was born July 7, 1946 in Chicago the son of Edward and Irene (Zigrovnik) Wesolowski. He grew up in Chicago and graduated from Loyola University. He started in business with his own real estate agency and later owned Working Man Palace and the Club America. For the past 26 years, he has owned and operated Wine & Roses Restaurant in Algonquin. John especially enjoyed golf and fishing and loved the trip he and Teresa took to Australia.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa of Algonquin and his brother, Ed (Susan) Wesolowski of Elk Grove Village.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16th at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
