Obituary

Jeanne H. Watts, 87 of Huntley, passed away on Sunday evening, March 16, 2014.

She was born November 19, 1926 in Chicago the daughter of Lewis and Jeanette (Spelman) Hunt and grew up in Park Ridge with her sister Alice. Jeanne was united in marriage to Harry B. Watts for 44 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved adventure, canoeing, traveling and water color painting .

She is survived by her children, John (Judi) Hunt Boyer of Antioch, Janice (Craig) Boyer Freund of Huntley, James (Toni) Hunt Boyer of Barrington, her grandchildren, John, Joshua, Kyla, Jordan & Alexa, also 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 followed by a 3:00 p.m. Service of Remembrance at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will take place later at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntley.

Jean was a beautiful lady and a good friend to both of us while we wintered in Punta Gorda. We enjoyed many happy hours with Jean and Harry kayaking, playing cards and enjoying each others company. We miss them. Our condolences go out to their families.
