Rosemary Cullen, 75 of Huntley, died peacefully, April 12, 2014 at Advocate Sherman Hospital with her family by her side.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5-8:00 p.m. at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley and also from 10- 11:00am on Thursday. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Humane Society.
Rosemary was born August 19, 1938 in Washington, D.C. the daughter of William and Rosa Flowers. She was a graduate of Wheaton High School and University of Maryland where she met and later married her husband James C. Cullen. Rosemary was a homemaker and later worked for at the College of DuPage Library. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and was an animal lover. She was active in the Sun City Bocci Club and the garden club.
She is survived by her husband, James, her daughters, Kimberly (John) Doerr, and Robin Cullen. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Kelly, Stephanie Doerr and Elizabeth and Michael Obermaier.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
