Obituary

Sally (Zilka) Daul left her beloved family and friends – much earlier than anyone expected, to attend a gathering at her Holy Father’s house on 15.April.2014, preceded by her dear partner, Ronald Oakes. Born, May 29, 1938, Sally leaves behind two sons, inspired beyond words by their mother’s courage; Ronald C., his wife Linda Joyce Bergles-Daul, grandchildren Dr. Morgan Daul DO, Jarrod Michael Daul – son Alan C., his wife Janet, grandchildren, Connor and Ryan “Cooper” Daul. Sally was blessed in her dreams by the preparations of her beloved son Robert; per her wishes, Sally will lie next to Robert, in the Lord’s grace. Clearly there is a place in heaven for a single mother who raised three sons! Sally’s heart busted with pride at the accomplishments of her grandchildren who have gained a zealous guardian angel. Sally was so grateful for the steadfast love of her sister Patricia, who rarely left her side during her time of need, loving brother, Michael Zilka dearest cousin Martin Potucek. Blessed by extended family, friends who provided such fellowship in life, comfort in sickness; so grateful and humbled she was for their love and support in her time of need. There was no compromise by God to extend her time on earth; something he should get ready to explain in the future. Sally was always on-time, sharp, with perfect penmanship, English prose and a gracious manner. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, 11:00 am, May 3, 2014, at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior from 10-11am all at the funeral home.

Sally was a special person & friend to our Gardner friends. We had great Bunco & neighborhood picnics as well as the luncheons in December. She will be missed greatly but we are thankful for the time we had with her as well as with Ron.

My heart felt sorrow and deepest sympathy to her sons and sister and brother, Sally will be missed. Sally was a dear friend, Ron told me that being with Sally were the best years of his life, hard to believe now that they are both gone.
