Tonya Marie Felton of Lake in the Hills passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
She was born Sept. 25, 1972 in Chicago, the daughter of John & Marcey Ramagnano.
She was a most loving wife, awesome mom, wonderful daughter, devoted friend, caring sister-in-law, and cherished daughter-in-law. She held many jobs over their 22 years of marriage, but the one she loved most was that of wife and mother. She was a no nonsense mom and a caring and loving wife.
She loved hosting parties and get togethers for her family and children’s friends, loved her dog Roxy, feeding the ducks in the pond, working with children, gardening and spending time in Wisconsin with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Robert Felton, her children Cierra and Vinney all of Lake in the Hills, parents John & Marcey Ramagnano of Elgin, sister Margo Valle, mother-in-law Susan Felton of Elgin, sister-in-law Lisa Felton (Heather Lindmeier) of Arizona, sister-in-law Angela Felton, niece Kayla Felton both of Huntley, many aunts and uncles, and several cousins.
Tonya will be remembered by her family and friends as being a loving wife and mother, a very caring and loving woman with a big heart and as a very giving person.
Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st with a 7:00 p.m. Service of Remembrance all at DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tonya Felton Memorial Fund.

I grieve with you for this great loss. We are SO sorry to hear of the loss of Tonya. We spent several years working with her in several different volunteer organizations, and she had a heart of gold, and would do anything for the kids in the youth organizations. Our hearts and thoughts are with you all during this troubling time, especially Rob, Cierra and Vinney. My heart breaks for you all.
