Ron Hrdlicka, 75 of Huntley died peacefully, September 1, 2014 at his home.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00pm with a service at 7:30pm all at DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Ron was born March 6, 1939 in Berwyn, Illinois the son of James and Lillian Hrdlicka. On September 3, 1960 he married Jean Vicich. He worked as a safety manager until his retirement. His greatest joy were his grandchildren. Ron also enjoyed spending time with his family at their home in Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, his children, Mike Hrdlicka, and Carmen (Anthony) Tontillo and by his grandchildren, Joey, Dominic, Nathan and Kayleigh and also by his brother-in-law, Bob Vicich.
