Scott Lawnicki, 24 of Hampshire, died November 13, 2014 after a brief and sudden illness.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 9:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borremo Catholic Church in Hampshire. Burial will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to BEAGLE FREEDOM PROJECT

Scott was born May 29, 1990 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. He was a graduate of Hampshire High School and also earned his associates degree. He was a body builder. He loved the beach, guns, weight lifting, cars, trucks, country music and Country Thunder.
He is survived by his parents, Teddy and Cindy (Hauber) Lawnicki, his two brothers, Teddy and Jeffery, his Uncle’s Allen, Lawrence, Glenn (Debbie) Lawnicki, and Aunt Dee Dee (Tony) Mecca. He is also survived by his cousins, Kris (Becky) Mecca, TJ (Val Scheiber) Mecca and Val Gates and by his two great aunts, Clara Bogdanowicz and Sandra Lawnicki.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted and Sophie Lawnicki, Mel and Elaine Hauber.

Ted, Cindy, Teddy, and Jeffery, On behalf of my family, we extend our deepest sympathy to you in the loss of Scott.We have not seen the boys since they were in high school, but can still picture all 3 of them as they were growing up. What great young men -all of them! May memories of happy times with Scott bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
