Raymond F. Kruse, 72 of Huntley died peacefully November 29, 2014 at his home with his family by his side.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 to 9:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home -10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday. Burial will be at Mt. Emblem Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Ray's family to be used for a memorial at a later date.
Ray was born November 30, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. The son of Raymond and Dorothy Kruse Culver. He worked as an Insurance Agent for Prudential Insurance Co. In 1977 he married Sandra Lynn Chandler. Following his retirement he worked as a Tram Operator at Brookfield Zoo. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge, Ray was an avid Bear fan and long time season ticket holder.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy, his children, Patrick Kruse, Lisa Czarnecki, Michelle (Tim) Malloy and by his grandchildren, Brett, Natalie and Norah. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara (Robert) Ritt and by his sister-in-law. Judy Boldt and by many nieces and nephews.

I am so sorry. Ray Kruse was such a loving, caring man. He was the perfect grandfather and a wonderful father-in-law. I am glad for the short time I knew him and appreciated his spirit. I send my sincere condolences to his dear wife, children, and siblings. God bless.
