Dianne C. Deegan, 71 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away at her home unexpectedly on Sunday, December 14, 2014.
She was born January 16, 1943 in Blue Island, Illinois, the daughter of Chester and Hortense (Jauchzer) Adams. She was united in marriage to John A. Deegan on August 17, 1963 in Blue Island. The couple made their home in Chicago and later Romeoville for 48 years until moving to Huntley in 2011. Dianne’s life was her family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed oil painting, pencil & pallet and sewing.
She is survived by her husband, John of Huntley, her sons, Robert R. (Samra) Deegan of Buford, Georgia, David A. (Christy) Deegan of Glen Ellyn and John C. (Monica) Deegan of Chicago, her grandchildren, Savannah, Brooke, Morgan, Lucy, Rose, Clare & Olive and her brother, Donald (Judy) Adams of Sugar Grove, Illinois.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

Although I knew Diane briefly as a newcomer to Pencil and Pallet I was deeply saddened by her death. My prayers and thoughts go to her family and husband at this very difficult time. Marilyn Keating
Mr. Deegan, Rob, Dave and John, Read of Mrs. Deegans passing in the paper and wanted to send out condolences from the Lees. I know Mom and Dad loved Diane, she was truly a great friend to them. I always thought it was great that the four of you guys got along so well even though you seemed to be so different, people just didnt realize how much you guys really had in common. To Diannes Family, I was a friend of so many years ago, when John and Dianne along with my now deceased husband Dave, used to double date. We were in each others weddings and I always knew that Dianne was a gift to the world. I am truly touched and saddened by Diannes passing and hold her family in my prayers.
