Obituary

Shirley Elizabeth Murphy-Eisenmenger, 65 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away at her home unexpectedly on Saturday, January 3, 2015.

She was born May 10, 1949 in Chicago, the daughter of Thomas and Shirley (Winkler) Murphy. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Eisenmenger on October 10, 1970. The couple made their home in Bartlett and Shirley worked in the medical field as an administrative assistant for many years. She was devoted to her husband, loved her family and had a passion for her flowers, plants and cats. The couple moved to Huntley in 2013.

She is survived by her husband Robert, of Huntley, her mother, Shirley Murphy of Hoffman Estates, her son, Scott (Jennifer) Eisenmenger of Schaumburg, her daughter, Danielle (Michael) DiPaolo of Harvard, three grandsons, Mitchell, Alexander & Peter, her sister, Kathy (Martin) Goss of Park Ridge and her brother, James (Maria) Murphy of Great Lakes, Illinois.

Private family services were held.

I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Shirley Beth. She was such a vibrant person & I am glad I was fortunate enough to know her. Its very hard for you but time will heal the pain you are feeling now & the memories you have of her will warm your hearts forever. Donna
