Donald J. Sanders, 75 of Sun City, Huntley, died January 9, 2015.
A funeral Mass will be 10:00am Wednesday at St. Mary Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Vincent De Paul/ St. Mary.
Donald was born October 21, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois. On February 5, 1966 he married Diane Usdrowski. He was a long time member of Northbrook Sports Club and enjoyed sporting clay.
Don is survived by his wife, Diane, his daughter, Jennifer (John) Steinert and by his four grandchildren, Makayla, Camden, Emma and Hannah. He is also survived by his sister, Grace Maraldi and by his brother-in-law, Joseph (Dorothy) Usdrowski and by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Benedict and Clara (Szymanski) Sanders and by his sister, Joan Bartnick.
