Patricia Ann Wilhelm, 58 of Gilberts, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, February 1, 2015.
She was born August 1, 1956 in Chicago, the daughter of Edward C. and Mary (Romandi) Kendal. She attended Roselle Middle School and Lake Park High School. She was united in marriage to Robert S. Wilhelm on June 4, 1977 in Itasca, Illinois. The couple made their homes in Bloomingdale, Hanover Park, Roselle, Crystal Lake and Gilberts. Pat had worked for many years at First Card Visa. Family was everything to her. She loved family gatherings and Christmas with all the family.
She is survived by her husband, Bob of Gilberts, her daughter, Christina (Fred) Biring of Huntley, her son, Bobby Wilhelm and his fiancé, Sarah Tilford both of Garden Prairie, her grandchildren, Austin, Zoey & Hailee, her brother, Michael (Jill) Kendal of Hampshire and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Edward.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4th at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley and on Thursday, February 5th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lurie Children’s Hospital, www.luriechildrens.org

Aunt Patty, its so hard to believe that you are actually gone. You were a part of SO many amazing memories from my childhood and beyond. Memories and stories that I will proudly tell my children with a huge smile on my face. Thank you for always laughing and joking with me. For allowing me to call you Shorty without getting hit too hard at least......and for helping me attack Uncle Mike during the water balloon fight. We love you.
