Richard Dovie Moore 80, of Huntley passed away at home on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Under the care of Journeycare Hospice of Barrington.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00am at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church- 10805 Main Street, Huntley. With a Memorial Service at 11:00 all at the Church.
Richard was born in Milan, Missouri August 14, 1934 the son of Bob and Elizabeth Moore. He served in the United States Navy from 1953-1955 on the Midway aircraft carrier. He married Deanna Stroud in 1956. He started his own company in 1969- Images Unlimited Division Moore Enterprises, Inc.
He is survived by his beloved wife Deanna (Stroud) of 59 years. One daughter Carrie, son-in-law, Jon, grandson Matthew and granddaughter Lauren Vukovich, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Elizabeth, four brothers and one sister and by his grandson, Michael Vukovich.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or charity of your choice.
