Dennis J. Papachristopoulos, 44 of East Dundee passed away at his home unexpectedly on Sunday morning, February 8, 2015.
He was born January 17, 1971 in Park Ridge, Illinois, the son of Kanellos and Carol (Zidek) Papachristopoulos. He grew up and received his education in Glenview. He had worked in sales most of his life and had been employed with GEI Graphics. He had enjoyed playing hockey in his early years, was witty and known to have a big heart. Dennis was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling and enjoyed cooking.
He is survived by his two sons, Shane & Liam of Naperville, his mother, Carol (Jack) Martin of Hampshire, his sister, Chrisi (Jonathan) Tilkin of Pingree Grove, his brothers, Demetri (Deanna) Papachristopoulos of Algonquin, Michael (Robin) Papachristopoulos of Pingree Grove, Jack Martin Jr., of Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin & Jimmy Martin of Elgin, also several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, February 13th from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park.

Sorry to hear about Dennis. Just found out 3/16/15. Have many memories from the fishing and snowmobile weekends we shared. Sincerely, Terry Brown
