Louis P. Tillie, 67 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
He was born March 11, 1947 in Monroe, Michigan, the son of Louis M. and Helen L. (Liptak) Tillie. He was raised in Monroe and educated at the Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint. He had been a press operator in the printing business for many years in Monroe. In 2010 he moved to Rolling Meadows then Huntley in 2013. He was very involved with the Township of Schaumburg Deaf Club, was active with the deaf at St. Borgia Catholic Church and later in the Rockford Diocese. Louis especially enjoyed his family and friends, crafts and reading.
He is survived by his aunts and uncles, Edward (Penny) Liptak of Huntley, Cecelia (Richard) Wolf of Newton Falls, Ohio, his cousins, Jennifer Leigh of Schaumburg, Christina (George) Riess of Bartlett, Andrew (Laura) Liptak of Huntley and David (Anita) Liptak of Brownsburg, Indiana.
Private family services will be held at a later date in Monroe, Michigan.
