Obituary

William H.P. Noffz, 74 of Huntley, passed away on Monday morning, April 6, 2015 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin.

He was born August 12, 1940 in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of Howard and Ruth (Romme) Noffz. He made his home and raised his family in Woodridge, Illinois for many years and worked in the printing industry. He was united in marriage to Beverly J. Soby on June 20, 1987 they lived in Chicago and in 2005 moved to Huntley. Bill enjoyed golf and camping and was a hard worker who had good sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Huntley, his sons, Brian Noffz of Carol Stream and Michael Noffz of Covington, Georgia, his step-daughters, Cynthia (Steve) Mattox of Rockton, Illinois, Karen (Scott) Henze of Huntley and his step-son, Ken Manchen of Belvidere, his grandchildren, Jay, Katie, Michael, Makayla, Nicholas & Alex, his great-granddaughters, Natalya & Mia and his sisters, Andrine (Duane) Keeley of Wheaton, Linda (John) Zito of Westchester and Kim Prevost of Florida. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol and great-grandson, Huntley.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8th at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service on Thursday at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main Street, Huntley. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
