Obituary

Veronica Dulemba, 92 of Huntley, died peacefully June 23, 2015.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3-7 pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am Monday at St. Mary Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Veronica was born July 17, 1923 in Rostuv, Russia. She married John Dulemba November 6, 1945. Veronica was devoted to her family and was affectionately known as “Grandma” to all. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed life. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Helen Parnell, Barbara (Steve) Vanni, Mary Burge, Julie Dulemba and John Dulemba, Jr. She is the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 24 great grand children and 3 great grand children. She is also survived by her brother and two sisters in the Ukraine. She is preceded in death by her husband.

Dear Helen, Barbara, Mary, Julie, John and family, Margaret and I were so sorry to hear of your moms passing. I remember her when growing up in the old neighborhood of St. Romans parish. She was a very nice lady. We are certain that your family will have many found memories of her to cherish. Dear Helen, Barbara, Mary, Julie, and John. Its been quite a while since we have seen each other. I remember some of the good times in the good old days. Dear John and Family, I am sad to have heard of Veronica's death. She was a funny and spirited woman even at her age. I enjoyed knowing her and getting to spend some fun times with her. She is with her family in heaven now. God Bless you all. Mari Obal
