Josef K. Wallner, a retired pipe fitter, 77 of Marengo, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 25, 2012 at? home surrounded by his family.? Josef is survived by his wife, Irma, his daughter, Vivian (Michael) Kasal, his son, Joseph (Elizabeth) Wallner, his grandchildren, Autumn & Christian Kasal and Kasen & Charlotte Wallner, his sister-in-law, Herme Wallner.? He was preceded in death by his brother, Alois and his sister, Maria.? Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27th from 3:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church, 412 Jackson Street, Marengo.? Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.? Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
