Wm. Scott Jensen, 65 of Hampshire, passed away at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood on Friday morning, August 7, 2015.
He was born November 8, 1949 in Chicago, the son of Leonard and Mary Lou (Powers) Jensen. He grew up in Glenview and graduated from Glenbrook South High School then attended Trinity College. He was united in marriage to Carole A. Huebner on October 14, 1972 in Niles. The couple made their home in Huntley and later Hampshire. Scott was a carpenter by trade but in later years was in farm management and Equestrian Morgan Horse Breeding. He loved animals, classic cars and was an exceptional craftsman.
He is survived by his wife, Carole of Hampshire, son, Wesley R. Jensen of Crystal Lake, his father, Leonard Jensen of Buffalo Grove, his brothers, Douglas (Sally) Jensen and Steve (Michele) Jensen both of Wheeling and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 9th from 12:00 Noon until the time of the 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service at DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Memorials in his name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

We will cherish the time we got to spend with Scott. We will truly miss our chats on Thursdays and will always hold his sweet and loving soul in our hearts. We feel blessed to have known him, although too short. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Carole and Wesley.
