Shirley L. Vogt, 79 of Crystal Lake, passed away on Saturday evening, September 5, 2015 at Bickford Cottage.
She was born July 24, 1936 in Chicago, the daughter of Elmer D. and Lillian (Oetting) Gosse. She married LeRoy F. Vogt on September 24, 1955. The couple made their home in Hanover Park, where she raised her family.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Mike) Motluck & Linda (Tom) Bartlett both of Lake in the Hills, Barbara (Rex) McManaway of Davis Junction, Patti (Lenny) Cuchiara of Monroe Center & Shannon Flores of Lake In The Hills, her son, Patrick (Marlene) Vogt of Huntley, 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and her sister, Marjorie Briggs of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy, brothers, Leslie, Melvin & Charlie and her sister, Emma.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11th, and the Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 on Saturday, September 12th all at DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in Nunda Township Cemetery, Crystal Lake.
