Paul S. Vege, 56 of Huntley, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
He was born March 1, 1959 in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Anthony and Lois (Hamilton) Vege. He graduated from Larkin High School in 1977. While in high school Paul started with the Eby Brown Company and has remained with the company to this day. This was his 41st year with Eby Brown. On December 27, 1993 he was united in marriage to Marie B. Sommers in Geneva. The couple made their home in Huntley. Paul was a vintage guitar dealer and dearly loved his family and children.
He is survived by his wife, Mimi of Huntley, his son, Zachary P. (Melanie) Vege of South Elgin, his daughters, Jennifer, Brooke & Sydney Vege all of Huntley, his brother, Tom Vege of Salem, Illinois, his former spouse, Abigail Vege Gramme and several nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Don, John , Anthony & Harold and his sister, Susie.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16th with a time of sharing at 7:00 p.m. at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
