I wish to express my condolences to Earle's family. As a young architect, I had the opportunity to work with Earle when he chaired the building program of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Chicago. Recently I recalled to my family his welcoming me to his and Charlotte's home for dinner during that project. I remain grateful for their hospitality. May they rest in peace together in Our Lord.

My prayers and sympathies for Earle's family. I met him when I came to Huntley spring of 2010. I was hired as Trinity Lutheran Church's Lay Minister, and he seemed to love chatting with me in my office during the week, and on Sunday mornings. He made me feel very welcome here, and I will miss our talks together. Blessed times I will not soon forget.

My prayers and condolences to Earle's family. Earle and I sang tenor together in the Partners in Praise choir at Trinity Lutheran Church. Earle had an amazing voice and his wit made him a joy to be around. I will miss having Earle as part of our choir here on earth, but I know he is singing the Lord's praises up above.
