Norman K. Kazluski, 79 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away on Friday morning, December 25, 2015 following a short illness.
He was born April 25, 1936 in Chicago, the son of John and Adeline (McNeer) Kazluski. He was raised and educated in Chicago and worked as a young man for Brach’s Candy. He was drafted in the United States Army where he served in Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands. He was united in marriage to Jeannie Fitzpatrick on January 4, 1969. The couple made their home in Chicago and Norman worked for Illinois Bell until retiring in the late 1990’s. He enjoyed his retirement and playing cribbage.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie of Huntley, his son, Keith (Sarah) Kazluski of Poplar Grove, his daughter, Jennifer Sciascia of Huntley and his grandchildren, Isabella, Katrina and Sammy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bob.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30th at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley and on Thursday, December 31st from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in Huntley Cemetery.
