Barbara Ann Borowski

Obituary

Huntley, IL — Barbara Ann Borowski passed away Thursday the 11th of February at her home with her husband and two sons at her side.
Barbara was born in 1941 the daughter of Edwin and Margaret Ognie. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Ralph Cory on the North side of Chicago. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara shared so much with me in the short years I was lucky to know her: stories, laughter, ideas, book and movie recommendations, light hearted, somewhat irreverent joy of life! I will be praying for you all, and I am imagining her joyfully communicating freely once again in a great celebration in heaven with all her loved ones who met her there. Save me a place, Barb, until we meet again.

I went to St. Benedicts with Barb and she was a lot of fun and had an amazing laugh and she did a lot of that in spite of her health issues. She adored her family and was a good friend to many. She left a lot of wonderful fun filled memories. Ron, sorry for you and your familys loss. You have my deepest sympathy at this very sad time.

Those we love who pass away live on in us through our memories. May Barbs love for all of you, her determination for life, and sense of humor be your constant comfort. She will be truly missed. Wish I could have made it in to see her. It has been so long, but she will always be in my thoughts and prayers. My fondest memories are of the Lake House and Coast Guard Festival. Love to all of you.

Oh Barb, I will miss your laugh and smile. I always admired how you accepted life. Your quilts were colorful and happy and I'm sure they will keep your memory alive for many in your family. Blessings to Ron and your sons.

My mom and Barbara were very good friends for many decades... My Mom preceded Barbara to Heaven by just a little over a month now... While it's sad, and we will all miss the availability of their Spirits to us here, Barbara, like mom, was a Woman of Tremendous Faith, and I can just hear them together laughing up in Heaven (as they used to do at our kitchen table) and having a wonderful time again with one another again... God Speed to you, Barbara, on your way back Home... You will be missed by all of us back here...!

I only met Barbara recently but I can see the type of woman she was by looking at the love her husband had for her and the two sons she raised to be the men they are today. My consoldences to you all. I hope you are able to find comfort in good memories and the love of those around you.
