Sam Bernardin, 83 of Huntley died peacefully February 14, 2016 at Florence Care Center in Marengo.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Friday, February 19, 2016 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family of Sam Bernardin.
Sam was born March 23, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Robert and Wilma Bernardin. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his sons, Robert (Edna) Bernardin, Christopher Bernardin, 3 grandchildren: Amanda, Elyse and Christopher Jr., he is also survived by his brothers, Robert (Dee) Bernardin, Raymond Bernardin and by his sister, Betty Zurzolo. He is preceded in death by his parents.
