To the family of Ray, I was privileged to have known and worked with Ray in the Postal Service for 32 years. The two things that impressed me the most about Ray were that he was ALWAYS a gentleman and he willingly shared his knowledge to help educate others. A real breathe of fresh air each and every time we saw each other. I am deeply saddened by his passing and truly share your loss. My world was a much better place because of Ray. May he RIP

I went to Lovett School with Ray. A good classmate.I believe we shared the same birthday (DEC. 15, 1942) RIP

Dear Fran, so sorry about Ray. After working at the PO I found out we were related. In the early 80's we became closer and everyone in management at the PO, and myself, really looked up to him. He inspired me to move up in management and I also followed his work on Rural Delivery, as an analyst for Northern IL District. I missed him when he retired. Sorry I can't make it to services as we live in MN. If you need anything or want any information, please let me know. Love Steve 312-804-9408

Ray was a wonderful coworker with his wonderful way of giving everything to others. I learned so much from him about work and life. He had a very classy way about him. The world has lost a gentle giant, may he RIP. ♡♡

Fran & Family, I too am saddened by the loss of such a fine gentleman and treasured co-worker. I had the privilege to follow in Ray's footsteps at the Northern IL District. I gained great insight from his vast knowledge and experience and became a better manage because of him. He was always willing to share and his calm demeanor set an example for all the lives he touched. Ray will be truly missed. My sincere condolences on your loss.

I met Ray when he was Postmaster of Morton Grove and I was a supervisor in Glenview. He was such a sweet man and so knowledgeable. I often contacted him to "pick his brain". He was always willing to share his knowledge. I will always remember him for that.
