Bruce A. Weber, 77 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away at his home on Monday, March 14, 2016 following a lengthy illness.
He was born October 18, 1938 in Marshall, Michigan, the son of Henry and Marion (Dean) Weber. He moved at an early age to Melrose Park and later graduated from Proviso East High School in 1958. He was united in marriage to Judith E. Reitmaier on June 24, 1961. The couple made their home in Addison for many years then Glendale Heights and in 2003 moved to Huntley. Bruce worked as an insurance agent for John Hancock and Metropolitan Life before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed golf and bowling, loved the White Sox and participating in the activities at Sun City.
He is survived by his wife, Judy of Huntley, his children, Jeffrey (Susan) weber of Glendale Heights, Kimberly (Rick) Schoenwolf of Bartlett and Scott (Mia) Weber of Dixon, his grandchildren, Kristi (Jeff) Palik, Staci Schoenwolf, Eric Schoenwolf, Stephanie Weber, Dana Weber, Jacob Weber, Raymond, Rebecca, Kaylee and Kyle Pahr, his great-grandchildren, Allison and Julianne Palik and his brother, Marvin (Regina) Weber of Burr Ridge. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Jean & Janice.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Journey Care Foundation, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010.

You were my favorite uncle. I remember so many childhood memories that are so precious to me. And most recent your wedding anniversary. Being your flower girl at your wedding, the reunion/anniversary was a most memorable day to me. Your patient misdemeanor never ceased to amaze me. Be at peace and now fly with the angels as you were here on earth, you definitely are above as well. Aunt Judy, Kim, Jeff, and Scott, our most heartfelt sincere sympathy goes out to you.
