Larry's deep knowledge about trees and kind mentorship to anyone-who-wanted-to-learn transformed our industry. His charisma, legendary sense of humor and warm heart made him totally lovable. Larry's devotion to Annie and his family has been inspiring. I am grateful for his friendship over many years.

The industry has lost a true legend. Larry was a mentor and friend to many of the leaders of our industry, and his dedication to advancing our profession helped shape modern arboriculture standards and practices. He will be missed, however never forgotten. I am a better person for having met him, he made a difference in my and many other peoples lives, and for that I will be forever grateful.

Larry would journey to Stevens Point to talk to students every year. Often twice a year. He would share stories about that legends he learned from. For us, he was a legend we learned from. Your contributions to arboriculture are still growing in the many people you mentored. Thanks for what you shared with each us.

My condolences to the Hall family. You are in my thoughts. Larry taught me the importance of looking beyond just caring for the trees, but to care for the people as well. I am forever grateful for having the opportunity to learn from Larry. Thank you for the memories and for inspiring all of us that you came in contact with to be better arborists.

My deep condolences to Annie and the Hall family. I am deeply saddened that I will not be able to attend Larry's services. I am sure on this day the stories that will be told and fond memories that will be shared will put smiles on many faces and ease this great loss. Just as a lifetime of being among the trees was a vital part of Larry, spending time with Larry left a deep impression on me as well as many others.

A extremely humble man. Within The tree care industry, especially, all the time outside teaching others. Thank you!
