Marie Rachick of Marengo, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on April 3rd. She was the only child of the late Thomas and Anastazia (Capek) Hejna. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, James Rachick and is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Rachick and Janice (Tod) Macklin.
Marie was born in the Chicago suburbs and lived there until retiring to Sarasota, Florida in 1980. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and playing bingo. She was a gentle, kind and very special mother who was devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Family graveside services were held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
