Elda “Dee” Trout, 81 of Huntley, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore.
She was born December 6, 1930 in Chicago, the daughter of Milo and Myrtle (Koss) Mullin. She graduated from Leyden High School, Franklin Park in 1946. In October 1967, she was united in marriage to Robert Trout. The couple owned and operated Bruins Restaurant in Cary for over ten years, retiring in 1989. They then moved to Loveland, Colorado where they enjoyed hiking, driving through the mountains and enjoying the outdoors. Following her husband’s death, she returned to Illinois in 2002. Dee was an avid reader, loved traveling, time with her family, puzzles, Jeopardy, and weekly lunches with her sisters.
She is survived by her loving children, son Michael (Jacqueline) Natali of Streamwood, daughter Tina Natali of Huntley, step-son Robert (Marinda) Trout of Loveland, Colorado, and son-in-law Brent Weber of Huntley; her grandchildren Adam (Pearl) Natali, Keith Natali, Amy Weber, Becky (John) Nickol, Todd Weber, Michelle (Stuart) Turner, Megan Lillibridge, and Sara Trout; her great-grandson Arthur Natali; her sisters Shirley McIntosh and Dorothy Park, both of Palatine. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her daughter Laura, her sister Ruth, and her brother Harry.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2nd, with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
