I met John in 1974, we were both working at Elmhurst PD and we became a two man unit. John was not only my partner, he was my best friend and the older brother I never had. Over the years we were separated by miles, he moved to AZ and when he came back I moved to MO but we always stayed in touch. Last Nov. we had dinner together and talked. Not long enough but that will be the memory I will hold forever. Rest in peace my friend.
