He was an amazing grandpa and I loved him very much. We would watch the Blackhawks and Cubs together. I am going to miss him when ever I go to work. Considering I work at the Golf Club of Illinois and he got me the Job. I love you grandpa and may God bless you and our entire family. XOXO Kathryn
I had the pleasure of working with Dewayne the past 10 years. No one brought more joy and excitement to the customers and staff at GCI quite like Dewayne could. He always had a smile on his face and a colorful personality to match, although nothing beats his Ricki Fowler look alike outfits. His presence would lite up a room with his youthful spirit and kind heart. We have lost a tremendous person, but heaven has gained a true angel. Not to mention the Cubs just added an angel to their outfield. Im thankful for our time together and the lifetime of memories we created in just 10 years. You will be Greatly missed, may God Bless you and your family. Your Buddy, Robert
My prayers for RoseMarie, Gregg, Nadine, and Scott for the loss of DeWayne. It was always nice to see him whenever I had the good fortune to attend a family gathering. DeWayne had a wonderful sense of humor and was a great kidder. He will be missed very much.
Dewayne and I worked many years together at Golf Club of Illinois. Dewayne was one of the guys I truly loved to see over there. He had a true appreciation for people and made everyone fell loved. I will miss his kindness, humor, and genuine care. May the good Lord greet you in a Ricky Folwer get up of his own and make you feel as welcomed up there as you made people feel welcome at GCI and the food industry. Prayers for your loved ones in these hard days ahead, Luc Miron and family.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the Spielman family, our condolences to everyone for such a great loss, DeWayne was a great person, always full of fun and laughs We will miss him, and we are thinking of Nadine and Al, Elizabeth and John at this difficult time, and Gregg and Scott and all their family members and relatives.
DeWayne was a genuinely good person. I knew him as the starter at the Golf Club of Illinois. As head of the Tuesday night league-Thirsty Night Golf League- DeWayne would assist me in anyway that he could. He would always put the markers on the right hole each week for the prize money. He would always take time to talk to everybody. He took the time to set everything up on the 1st tee each week. He would kid around with you like a true friend. He will truly be missed by everybody who had personal contact with him. God bless you and your family. Your friend forever, Roger,
DeWayne was a genuinely good person. I got to know him as the starter at the Golf Club of Illinois on Tuesdays. I ran the Tuesday afternoon league. We have 27 players altogether. DeWayne was always there to help me in anyway that he could. All of us got to know him very well. He was a friend to all of us. He would always take time to talk to everybody. He would kid around with us as though we were best friends. We will all miss him very much. It just won't be the same on Tuesdays without DeWayne. God bless you and all of your family. Your good friend, Roger.
