Edward Matthias Haraburda, 44 of Winnetka, died peacefully, August 15, 2016 with his family by his side.
Visitation for Ed will be on Wednesday, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Haraburda family for the Haraburda Children.
Edward was born September 4, 1971 the son of David and Annette Haraburda. He was raised in Algonquin, Illinois and attended District 300 Schools and graduated from H. D. Jacobs High School in 1989. Ed attended University of Illinois and later graduated from Northern Illinois University. He worked for Mitchell Aircraft in Cary, Illinois and eventually formed his own company called Cornerstone.
Edward is survived by his three children, Molly and Jeremy who are twins and a son, Matthew. He is also survived by his parents, David and Nettie Haraburda and his sister Annalise Haraburda. Edward was loved by his entire family and his many friends. He is preceded in death by his former wife, Katie Fote.

I went to school with Ed for many years and he was always the nice guy, opening doors, the first to pick up something you dropped, a real class act. He will be missed by those he touched recently Im sure, but also those from a far. Rest in peace Ed, you were takin way to young.
