Raymond C. Kuzelka, 76 of Huntley, passed away at Centegra Hospital in Huntley on Thursday evening, September 1, 2016.
He was born November 25, 1939 in Chicago, the son of John and Sophie (Kurpias) Kuzelka. He was raised and educated in Chicago and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to Constance A. Tworek on June 24, 1967. The couple made their home in Elmhurst and later Bartlett. Ray was employed at Danly Machine Corporation and later at KSO Metal Fabricators, retiring in 2002. In 2004 the couple moved to Huntley. He enjoyed his pets, fishing, cooking, reading his newspaper and most of all time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, his daughter, Maureen (Anthony) Ingrassia of Huntley, his son, Russ (Jessica) Kuzelka of McFarland, Wisconsin and his grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Abbie and Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Irene, and his brother John.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6th at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
