Phyllis J. Alicz, 81 of Huntley, formerly of Central Stickney and Plainfield, died peacefully, September 13, 2016.
Visitation will be Friday 4-8pm with a prayer service at 7:30pm all at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.
Phyllis was born August 4, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Robert and Eleanor Porzel. She married John J. Alicz on May 29, 1954. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Dennis) Gano and her son, Robert Alicz. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Mark (Shelley) Alicz, Jennifer Alicz, Brad (Samantha) Duffy, and Laura (Matthew) Squatrito and by her five great grandchildren, Kayla, Isabella, Elijah, Liam and Joshua.
She is preceded in death by her husband and by her sister, Marlene
