Wladyslawa “Lottie” Kuc, 78 of Huntley, passed away peacefully at her home in Huntley following a lengthy illness.
She was born December 9, 1937 in Tuczepy, Poland the daughter of Wojiech and Ludwika (Szymcuko) Dziewirz. She was united in marriage to Lucjan Kuc on August 2, 1958 in Poland. The couple came to the United States and Lottie worked as a server in the food service industry. She especially enjoyed her family, cooking for them and crocheting. She had a special place in her heart for the dogs in her life, Dexter, Edward, Julius and Bell.
She is survived by her husband, Lucjan and her daughter, Irene, both of Huntley, her son, Stanley (Nanette) Kuc of Crystal Lake, her grandchildren, Daniel, Allison, Stephen, Caroline and Jack Kuc, her sister, Maria Drozdowska, her niece and Goddaughter, Teresa Wowra, along with exended family residing in Poland and the United States. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jozef Dziewirz.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11th at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley and on Saturday, November 12th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Avenue, Crystal Lake from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass. Burial will be in Huntley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal House Shelter of Huntley.
