Oscar Gonzales, 81 of Huntley, died peacefully, November 27, 2016
A visitation will be on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Oscar was born June 16, 1935 in Houston, TX the son of Rosa and Jose Gonzales. He served in the United States Army. In 1957 he married Diana Ingle. He worked as a supervisor and later in the accounting department of the Wm. Wrigley Jr.Co. He was an avid British Car enthusiast . A hobby he and his wife enjoyed together. They were members of the British Car Club, Chicago Vintage Car Club, Vintage MG Club and the British Union Car Club. Oscar was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diana, his children, Patsy Ann Gonzales, Suzanne Marie (Michael) Kahn, Leo ( Ann) Gonzales, and Melissa Gonzales. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dana, Maria, Alexander, Andrew, and Isabella, by his beloved grandpets. He is survived by his brothers, Roland (Lina) Delgado, Thomas Delgado and by his sister, Stella (Robert) Lopez and by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and by his four siblings.

I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. Oscar was a kind and conscientious man who could always be depended upon at Wrigleys to get things done. He was one of the first persons I worked with after I was hired. He will be missed and I will keep him in my prayers.
