Mary Jo Pint, 86 of Huntley, passed away quietly in Hospice Care on Thursday, December 15, 2016 after a fall in her home.
She was born October 24, 1930 in Elgin, Illinois, the daughter of Hartwell and Maude (Timoney) Kelley. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1948. She worked at Sherman Hospital for many years. She was united in marriage to Gene Pint in 1982 and they retired to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Following the death of her husband, she returned to Huntley to live closer to her children.
She is survived by her daughters, Jan (Michael) Schier of Sleepy Hollow, Jane (Tony) Ambroso of Crystal Lake, her step-daughters, Renee (Kevin) Gurley of Wauconda, Lisa Pint of Lombard and Melissa (Jason) Reinwald of Grays Lake, her son-in-law, Bruce Farris of Woodstock, her grandchildren, Megan, Scott (Patricia), Walter, Abigail, Becky (Darrick), Kyle (Emily), Emily and Jack and her great-grandchildren, Claire, Vivian, Andrew, Olivia and Arnie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Pint, her daughter, Jodi Farris and her sister, Charlene Benstein.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21st at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be at a later date in Marengo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National MS Society or the Veterans Organization of your choice.
