Mitch was born on July 9, 1948 in Chicago and graduated from Gordon Tech High School. He went on to attend The University of Illinois Chicago majoring in Architecture. Tarzian & Associates in the 1970’s which built many large home subdivisions in and around the Chicagoland area. In the 1980’s, sensing a change in the market, Mitch changed his business plan and opened Tarcom Corp. in order to take advantage of the economic boom of the time. Tarcom Corp. expanded into the commercial general contracting business and was involved in many prestigious projects building professional, corporate, and medical buildings. His business philosophy was to always be flexible with the changing market. His own personal mantra was “no matter how many times you get knocked down, you only lose when you do not get back up”. Mitch was also part of VISTAGE for more than a decade. VISTAGE is an international organization of leading experienced executives and entrepreneurs in business development and strategic planning.

Saying farewell to a former pupil is especially difficult, but I remember Mitch well from St. Gregory Grammar School, where he was a student in my class. I extend sincere sympathy to his family and offer many prayers for the difficult days ahead. May you all feel the peace and comfort that can only come from the loving arms of our dear Lord, which now enfold him.
