Norman “Bud” Reyes, 76 of Huntley, died peacefully, February 5, 2017
Visitation will be on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00am with a Mass celebrated at 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Inurnment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Sun City Lions of Huntley.
Bud was born February 1, 1941 the son of Carrol and Florence Reyes. He worked as a systems analyst in the banking industry. He was on the team that coded the first ATM machine. He was an active Sun City Lion, and for many years was in charge of Candy Day. Bud loved fishing, golfing, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also in the Prairie Singers as well as the Sun City Theater Co. Bud was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and dear friend to many. His warm smile and pleasant personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine “Lori” Reyes, his children, Karen (Gerald) Posner, Tim (Patty) Reyes and by his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Vince, Kayla and Alison. He is survived by his sister, Sylivia (David) Shlemon and his brother, Peter (Zenny) Reyes and by many nieces and nephews.

Bud was a faithful, long time member of the Prairie Singers, and for many of those years was our setup man for the weekly rehearsals. We will miss is smile and generous attitude. Our condolences to his family and friends.
