Elizabeth Volberding “Betty Brinkman”, 68 of Spring Grove, died February 3, 2017.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10am until Noon and then a memorial service will be held at Noon all at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Domestic Violence Awareness Project
Betty was born February 3, 1949 the daughter of James and Elizabeth Oetjens. She served as a Chicago Police Officer until her retirement in 2000. She enjoyed crocheting and reading and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Randy) Tison, Bryan (Holly) Behles, by her grandchildren, Logan B., Logan T., Jacob T., Lizzie B., Jacquelynn (David) H. and Jenessa (Anthony) B and by her sisters, Donna (Jim) Ryan and Debra Oetjens.
