Marie Porrello, 78, of Sun City, Huntley, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
She was born February 28, 1939 in Chicago, the daughter of Eugene and Concetta (Catalano) Gallo. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Frank, her daughters, Susan (Kent) Klaus, Lynn (Randy) Hornig, and Lisa (Joe) Kalemba, seven grandchildren, Eric, Adam, Ryan, Brent, Marc, Nicole and Megan, her brother, Ettore Gallo, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Antoinette, Elaine and Theresa and two brothers, Alfred and Albert.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31st at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends will gather an hour prior at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1st at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Huntley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
