Erica Unterreiner, 65 of Hampshire, died, peacefully, April 19, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 9-10:00am at Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.
Erica was born June 10, 1951 in Kempten, West Germany the daughter of Frank and Katharina Hehn. She married John Unterreiner on October 9, 1971. Erica was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, reading and spending weekends camping. She was a devoted wife, mother, oma and friend that will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, John, her children, Brian (Lisa) Unterreiner, Mark Unterreiner and Karen (Tommy) Genualdi, by her mother, Kathy Hehn, her grandchildren, Samantha, Francesca, Dominic and Wade and by her brother, Guenther (Vicki) Hehn and by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Hehn and infant son, Nicholas
