Bill (William) B. Raby, 65 of Huntley, died peacefully, Sunday, June 25, 2017
Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Visitation will also be from 11:00am to 12 Noon with a funeral service at held Noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
Bill was born September 27, 1951 the son of Cecil and Mildred Raby. He married Karen L. Petersen on July 29, 1973 in Elmhurst, Illinois. He owned and operated a roofing company with his brothers and nephews. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, fishing and a Chicago White Sox fan, horse racing and riding his motorcycle. His greatest joy was his family. He especially enjoyed watching his grandkids sporting events and watching his horses train and run. Bill was a devoted and loving husband, dad and grandpa who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, his daughters, Shannon (Michael) Savino, and Stephanie Raby and by his grandchildren, Peyton, Isabella, Dominick and Ivan. He is also survived by his brother, Terry (Nancy) Raby and by nieces, nephews and also by Karen’s family. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Joe Raby and his niece Dawn Combs.

Our sincerest condolences to the family. Bill is one of the best I have met in my life. Shared together, 1000's of games of pool, countless conversations about kids, horses, southern Tennessee, and life in general. We will miss you.

My Thoughts and Prayers are with the Raby Family. I always enjoyed the early mornings with the whole Raby Crew at the warehouse sitting around on buckets and sharing stories. You will always be a great memory in my sales career.
