Sad day for the Biaggi's family in Algonquin. Larry and his friends started coming to lunch every Friday when we opened back in 2004. Every host knew that on Friday's, table 23 was reserved for Larry. Larry and I became friends, enjoying lively discussion every week. We joked, we debated and we laughed. We loved debating politics, talking about history and sharing stories about our travels. All of our staff loved Larry and it just became part of our culture to bring Larry and his friends an order of Bruschetta when we greeted them. Larry has given me advice over the years, made me laugh every Friday and became someone who made Friday lunches a shift I looked forward to. He was kind, funny and wise. My condolences to his family. He often spoke about his love for them, and please know you have our prayers. Goodbye Larry, you were our friend and we will miss you. Table 23 will always be your table, and I will always think of you on Fridays during our lunch hour, when I will miss you most.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire Pych family... Larry was such a character! More importantly, he was a wonderful man with a big heart. I was fortunate to be his daughter Denise's best friend in high school and I have many fond memories of Larry. He and Shirley were forever carting us around to cheerleading competitions, driving the entire squad of crazy loud girls in his turquoise convertible for the homecoming parade and dropping us off at ISU for our first year of college. Larry always had a witty story to share- and also managed to slip in a bit of wisdom or fatherly advise. He was one of a kind and will be missed.

Our prayers and deepest sympathy for Shirley and family. Larry was our 'Toastmaster' at breakfast outings, keeping us on track with our 'world-problem' solving and sage advice. 'Mr. Pych', we will miss you and most of all, your friendship.....

Since moving to Sun City 18 years ago, it has been an honor to know Larry. We took many long local drives including driving to Marengo because McDonald ice cream cones were half price. I enjoyed being his PC guru. Friday lunches at Biaggi’s will never be the same. He has been my best friend and I will miss him.
