Lela, my friend, and Carrie, and Ann, I can not express to you how much sorrow I feel for Rich's sudden passing. He certainly was loved by all who knew him and will surely be missed by all. May God bless him and you as well.
He just couldn't wait!! Had to miss years of suffering usually reserved for us old geezers, because he just had to hurry up and get there. No doubt Uncle Tony and all the rest were pulling him in, along with his guardian angel! Goodbye cousin Rich! You sure did shock us with your sudden departure, ...will miss you and all the times at N.D. and Door County. Will pray for your happiness in heaven. Don't forget to pray for all of us. Peace be with you and the whole family!
Annie, I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you and praying for and your family at this time.
Sincerest condolences to my sister-in-law Annie and the entire Grusdis family. My heart breaks for you; may you find peace and comfort in your faith and in the memories of your wonderful dad, husband, and grandfather.
A gracious and gentle man now home with the Lord. We have heavy hearts. Our prayers for the peace and comfort of Lela and family.
A man who lived a truly full life and left a legacy. How lucky we are to have known him and his beautiful family. God Bless you all especially my dear friend Carrie without whom my life would be diminished.
We are so sorry for your loss. We will miss a favorite cousin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I always loved joking around with Uncle Rich and seeing his big bright smile!
Carrie - I am so very sorry for your loss and wish your strength and comfort during this difficult time.
Carrie, We send our deepest sympathy for your loss. We hope that happy memories may comfort you and your family.
Carrie and family, I hope that the pain of your Dad's loss can eventually be offset by memories of the joy and love you shared. He'll still be with you and your family every day - just in a different way, and it takes a long time to get used to that (and you never completely will). Prayers and thoughts are with you now and always.
Richard was talented, consideate, thoughtful, creative, artistic, and lifelong friend. He is missed by all who knew him. God bless him, may he Rest In Peace.

Dear Carrie and Family, We are so sorry for your loss and very much wish we could be with you tomorrow. Know that you are on our mind and in our heart. Your Dad was loved by so many and will be celebrated in memory and never forgotten. Now it's the angels turn to enjoy him and all of his talents... (Those lucky ducks!) and he will be forever watching over you all with love and protection. XOXO
To our sister in law Annie and the rest of the Grusdis family we are very sorry for your loss. Although we had only met Mr. Grusdis on several occasions we could readily see that he was a man of many talents, vigorous, and one that loved his family and that was deeply loved and respected in return. May he rest in peace and may you have comfort.
Carrie and family, I am so sorry I can't be there to give my condolences in person. Carrie knowing you, I know we would have loved your dad. May your memories carry you through. I'm sure they are many and great. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

While I've heard many stories and praises from you about your dad, being a fellow artist, I never had the privilege to meet him. I wish I had. He certainly raised the most caring (named appropriately), genuine person that I know. I think heaven has been given a gift and your father is painting away with a smile on his face. Please know that our family, having just experienced a loss, is with you in your sorrow.
Carrie, I was so saddened to hear about the sudden passing of your dad. My father passed away right before his birthday, too, which makes it that much harder. It doesn't matter how old we are, losing a parent is devastating at any age, but it does get easier with time. My thoughts are with you and your family, Sue
To the immediate and extended family of Richard - I send my deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers for your loss. Although I did not know Richard all that well - I always enjoyed our conversations and I could tell he was a genuine and thoughtful man. God bless all of you in this time of grief and loss.
Peace be with you, Lela and your whole family. My prayers and deepest sympathies are with you at this most difficult time.
So sorry with all my heart. Cannot find the words to express the depth of my sorrow.
Uncle Rich was an exceptional person. His life and love lives on in his beautiful paintings and in the hearts of his family. He will be deeply missed.
My brother Rich could find humor in every situation; he laughed easily with his quick wit. He was generous with his time, talents, resources sharing his artistry & intelligence. What an ideal "big brother", kind, sensitive, & understanding of others. His life reflected the fundamental principles of faith & family. He was a member of the gracious & magnanimous team of LELA & RICH who for decades did good works & helped so very many people including family members; they were truly the "First Responders". Thank you for being my brother. I love you always. God bless you forever.
